Haven – Spiral

     In the season finale, a whole lot comes together and even more is blown apart.  Audrey is Lucy, she is pretty certain of it, and while it seems impossible, in the confines of this show, it certainly seems like it could be the case.  In the final scene the “real” Audrey Parker shows up, which seems a bit far-fetched since our Audrey was in the FBI for a while before she came to Haven.  If there was another Audrey Parker in the FBI, wouldn’t someone have noticed before now?

     Nathan gained a father, even if he was a convicted murderer, and then lost both fathers in the same day.  Now he is going to have to take up the position of chief of police, to keep it out of the hands of “the Rev” who wants to destroy or banish anyone having anything to do with the Troubles.

     Duke and Eleanor’s daughter (Julie?) are going to have an interesting entanglement next season, especially since she has a disappearing tattoo and may be the one who is going to kill Duke.  I can’t wait to find out how/why her tattoo disappears.

     The two newspaper men, Dave and Vince, know WAY more than we have seen so far, and I look forward to their stories being explored next season.  I am glad Haven was renewed, and I look forward to next season already.

Blue Bloods – Priviledge

     Police Commissioner Reagan is dating a reporter, and she used the fact that she knew something was going on to get a jump on an official police release of information to get to a crime scene before any other reporter, and before the police were ready for reporters to be at the scene.  And he was PISSED.

     Diplomatic immunity has been done to death on police shows, but I did like the twist of the ex-wife getting pulled in because her diplomatic immunity was revoked when she divorced her husband.  I also liked the fact that the DNA from sweat, due to a hot interrogation room, was a match for not just a rape here, but a rape in his home country.  So, the choice was either waive diplomatic immunity here and go to trial, or get sent back to Venezuela and face prison there.  He ended up in jail here, awaiting trial.

Haven – The Trial of Audrey Parker

     Audrey trying to explain the troubles to her FBI boss cracked me up.  Even she realized how crazy she sounded, and she couldn’t do anything to make herself sound saner.  Her boss was kind of a jerk.  I am glad she quit the FBI and can now be a full time Haven police officer.  I was surprised the FBI boss was in cahoots with the police chief, and it’s obvious he knows way more about Haven then he lets on.

     Does Nathan not being able to physically feel anything have something to do with the troubles?  Does he cause the troubles, or do the troubles cause his issue?

     Duke’s boat picked a really bad time to pop a leak and start sinking.  Convenient to the story, yes, because it added tension, but seemed a little ridiculous.  I am curious about what is in the box Duke is holding off the side of his boat.

Blue Bloods - Pilot

      Did we really need to hear New York, New York to know that this was taking place in New York?  It felt really obvious.  Then they used another version at the end.  I hope this isn’t going to be a trend.

     Danny is a good detective, and saved the little girl, but he just got lucky that the perp didn’t walk.  I expect we are going to see that he has some anger/rage issues, and is probably suffering from PTSD from his time in Iraq.

     My guess is that Jamie will work to investigate the Blue Templar, and at some point he will discover that Danny is a member.  That was the piece in Danny’s closet that was focused on in the teaser, a Blue Templar chip (for want of a better word) like the one the FBI showed Jamie.

     I will be interested to learn more about the sister, Erin’s, story.  She has a soon-to-be ex-husband that I am sure we will meet in the future, and I have a feeling she is a serious type-A personality.

     I am so happy to have Tom Selleck back on my TV every week!  I really like him as the Police Commissioner, and I am also looking forward to finding out more about his issues with the mayor, and what happened to HIS dad on the job that seems to have been a serious issue.

     What is it with all these dramas using the dinner table for screaming at each other?  This show, Brothers and Sister, and Parenthood just to name three are currently doing it.  Modern Family either has or will, but they will make it funny at least.
