Welcome!

Welcome to TV with Tina!

I have been a television fan since my youth.  It was my babysitter, my companion, my mainstay, throughout my life.  Through television related websites, I have made some very dear, life-long friends.  It seems like it was inevitable that eventually I would create a TV related blog, to share my thoughts and opinions about what I am watching.  The 2010-11 television season is upon us, and what better time to start a TV blog than the start of the traditional season?

This will be about the shows I am watching.  I may give a synopsis of an episode, I may not.  There are plenty of websites out there that recap episodes, this will be more about my reaction to the episode.  There will likely be spoilers if you haven't viewed the episode in discussion, so consider this fair warning... don't read if you don't want to know.

Most anticipated returning drama:  Sons of Anarchy (SoA) which came roaring back this week.  My next post will be my thoughts on this 3rd season premier episode.

Most anticipated returning comedy:  Big Bang Theory.  This is a tough category for me to choose, since Modern Family, Cougar Town, and How I Met Your Mother are also right up there for me.

Most anticipated new drama:  The Event.  I hope for a cross between Lost and Flash Forward, and the cast is excellent, so I am really looking forward to this show.

Most anticipated new comedy:  Hmmmm.  I guess I would say Mike and Molly.  I like the cast, and just hope that it's not just a series of "fat" jokes.  That will get old pretty quickly.

Welcome aboard, and I hope you enjoy.

  3. Love Bites is a mid-season replacement! Otherwise it would be there, can't resist Greg Grunberg!

  4. Finally! As Tina's neighbor, the last four years it's been tiptoe softly during TV time or die. A visit right into the mind of this media obsessed women is what I've been waiting for. What's sizzling? No "Swanson's" dinners here. A bit of drama I see and a keen sense of criticism. For sure no ordinary TV cuisine. Tina, Type On!
