Sons of Anarchy

Sons of Anarchy – Turas
I think Stahl’s girlfriend/partner is going to either be Stahl’s downfall or she is going to end up dead.  She seemed to doubt Stahl’s honesty, and she checked Stahl’s phone to see her call history.  It wasn’t apparent whether she found anything or not, but her doubt was evident.
When the SAMBEL/SAMCRO boys went through the checkpoint, it was obvious McGee was shocked.  It was a bit more difficult to read Liam, especially in light of what happened later, but I don’t think he was aware SAMCRO was going to get through the checkpoint either.  I don’t think Jimmy let him in on the plan for what was to happen at the barn until later, when Liam called him when they got to the barn.
I was really surprised when Jimmy showed up at Maureen’s and killed their guard.  At that point I still thought he was going to be at the barn for the gun pick-up.  He played it really smart, let SAMCRO think they suggested going on the gun run, all the guys went thinking they were going to get to him, while he stayed in Belfast and went after all the women who weren’t very well protected.  Jimmy was 2 or 3 steps ahead of the Sons throughout the episode, although he didn’t count on Trinity, Gemma, Maureen, and Fi being so resourceful and fierce.
Gemma had every intention of killing Jimmy, but Fi stopped her.  She explained to Gemma that if Gemma had killed Jimmy it would have brought totally bloody genocide to her family.  SAMCRO is used to inflicting pain and fear on people, not having that put on them.  No one was comfortable in this episode, and no one was safe in Ireland.
Back in Charming, Margaret Murphy really came through for Tara, again.  She offered to give Tara a ride to her procedure (read: abortion), and then home.  This woman, who has been attacked by both Gemma and Tara, really keeps surprising me with her support.
Maureen called McGee, which truly appeared to be the first time he heard Jimmy was in Belfast and not coming to the barn.  Liam knew that Jimmy wasn’t coming at this point, and made a subtle escape from the barn, so I believe when he made the call to Jimmy that McGee told him to make earlier, that’s when he found out the plan.  Liam left McGee in the barn, with SAMCRO, to die, if all had gone according to plan.  Thankfully for our boys, it didn’t go as it was supposed to go.
Jimmy’s boys locked them, and the truck, inside the barn.  Just as they busted out the door, Liam pulled a remote out of his pocket and detonated the truck.  A bunch of SAMBEL guys were killed, and some of SAMCRO was hurt; Opie got hit by some shrapnel and Jax got the crap kicked out of him.  While Jax was down, he had a vision of his father coming to see if he was okay, but it wasn’t John, it was Clay.  Chibs’ nephew was one of the ones that died.
Back in Charming, Unser spoke with Hale and Oswald.  He finally looked past the club ties, and dug a bit deeper into what happened to Lumpy, and the properties on Liberty St that are all closed.  He discovered something, and while we didn’t find out exactly who’s name was on the list of investors he got, I believe we will find out it was Hale’s name.
Chibs vowed that he is going to kill Jimmy, and Jax said okay.  Then Jax called Stahl again, to get some intel from her, and then encountered Trinity.  They still don’t know they are ½ siblings, and while they weren’t all over each other, Jax did talk to her and put his arm around her.  Gemma saw them, and STILL didn’t say anything to discourage them getting closer.  I really don’t know what she is waiting for, she knows what Jax is like, and that he’s in pain, isn’t tied to Tara anymore (at least in his mind) and is most likely going to reach out for a woman.  I can’t imagine Gemma will let this go on for much longer before she and Maureen have to talk to both Jax and Trinity.
In Charming, Salazar blackmailed Hail into telling him how to find Tara.  Of course, poor Margaret was driving the car they were in, when Salazar’s girlfriend hit their car with hers, to get them both out of the car and vulnerable.  Salazar wanted to know if Margaret was someone’s old lady too, and the girlfriend checked her for ink.  And suddenly, the Margaret Murphy we thought we knew became a LOT more interesting, when it was revealed she had a huge, full back tattoo.  The tattoo had a skull, a gun, a wing, a heart that appeared to be broken with crossed bones under it, and some musical notes.  It said Rock and Roll near the notes, under the skull and over the gun, and My Love in a ribbon over the heart.  It was all black ink, no color, and definitely looked like something a club member’s old lady would wear.  Tara was stunned when she saw it.  Salazar put them both in the car, and the episode ended.
I actually think that tattoo saved Margaret’s life.  I don’t imagine Salazar would have let her go when he took Tara; I believe he would have killed her right there on the side of the road.  Instead, because he thought she was someone’s girlfriend/wife he took her with them.
